I was born in Wales and moved to Plymouth when I was small. I studied at a specialist art secondary school (PSCA), then moved to the Arts University Plymouth to complete a UAL Level Three in Graphics, Illustration and Game Arts, achieving a Distinction. I am now in my third year at Falmouth University, studying a BA (hons) in Illustration. Having this educational background helps me embrace creativity in every aspect of my life and take risks in my work.
My creative practice has evolved from purely illustration and traditional practices to working in design, combining photography, illustration, and elements of photo collage. I thoroughly enjoy reaching out to different creatives and organising teams for photo shoots, photo editing, and illustration!
Although I love working with photographers and having my own level of art direction, I have started learning photography to further my practice and take more control over what I want. With my recent piece working with Kitty Wyatt for her Illuminate cover as part of a wider album for Psych Against Cancer, I was able to book a studio, shoot and edit the final products all myself, which I really enjoyed.
